My windsurfing buddy Brian Burke and I were taking in the view and we noticed how tall the Bay Bridge looked. Then we realized it was being reflected in the water. (Click on the photo for a larger version.) A few minutes after I snapped this shot, the wind came up enough for tricking.

Wednesday and Thursday, though, I didn’t sail at all.
Wednesday I suffered from entropy after having spent the morning practicing for a Thursday evening concert. Domond chided me: Don’t I know that when the wind blows northwest on the coast to sail early? He’s on my short list.
Thursday I didn’t like the way the water looked—too shiny—but I rigged anyway, only to have the wind die completely by the time I was ready. Just as well, because, had I sailed, I would have been in quite a rush to make the concert.
